Subject experts
Specialists in the specific domain — child protection, workplace dignity, constitutional studies or institutional safety — who work with the subject beyond the classroom.
SWAMITRA programmes are designed backwards from the moment of use. Content is anchored in the duties an institution actually carries and the decisions its people actually have to make, so that what is learned in the session is usable in the situation. Sessions are contextualised to the sector, the size of the institution and the language of the participants.
Every programme is drawn from the Foundation's research and framework work, and is reviewed as practice and guidance evolve. Participating institutions receive the associated templates, SOPs and reference material free of cost so that the training leaves something behind.
How we design trainingObjectives are written as capabilities, not topics. Each one is assessable, and the assessment component of the programme tests against this list.
Where the programme carries assessment-based certification, participants are tested on the knowledge outcomes through a written assessment and on practical application through an exercise appropriate to the subject — a mock inquiry, a scenario response, a documentation task or a supervised delivery.
Participants who do not qualify at first attempt are offered a re-assessment. Institutions receive a consolidated report showing coverage and completion across all nominated staff.
Content is streamed by role. Where a single institution nominates several of these groups, sessions are usually split so each group gets the depth it needs.
Modules run in sequence; each closes with a short activity and a check of understanding before the next begins.
Module depth and session length are adjusted to the audience and the agreed duration. Institutional programmes may add a module covering the organisation's own policy and reporting pathway.
The methods below are used in this programme. The balance between them changes with group size, delivery mode and the certification route selected.
Length is set by the depth of competence required. Delivery mode is set by geography, group size and how much practical work the programme involves.
Regional-language delivery is available on request for most programmes. Session timing and batch size are agreed with the institution before scheduling.
Certificates are issued in the name of SWAMITRA Foundation and record the programme, date, duration and delivery mode. They evidence completion of a SWAMITRA programme and are not a statutory qualification, licence or registration under any law.
Compare certification pathwaysEvery certificate carries a unique reference and a verification link, so an employer, board, auditor or regulator can confirm authenticity without contacting the holder.
Faculty are assigned by subject and by audience. We publish the profile of the actual faculty for each cohort rather than a standing list, so participants know in advance who will be in the room.

Practising lawyers who handle the procedural content: statutory duties, inquiry practice, natural justice, evidence handling and documentation standards.
Teachers, teacher educators and school leaders who carry the pedagogy — how to teach difficult material to a real group in a real institution.
Practitioners who have completed the Train the Trainer programme and its supervised practicum, and who deliver to SWAMITRA's curriculum and quality standards.
Five stages, the same for an individual participant and for a multi-location institutional rollout.
Institutions frequently combine two or three of these into a single rollout.
Nine programmes across compliance, child protection, legal literacy, institutional safety and leadership.
Register as an individual for an open cohort, or bring the programme into your institution and leave with your own certified trainers.
