The resource library

Search by title, then narrow by category, file type or language. Nothing here requires registration or payment.

Six kinds of document, six different jobs

Knowing which type of document you actually need saves a great deal of time. Each type is written to do one thing well.

Toolkits

Complete implementation kits. A toolkit takes a framework and breaks it into sequenced steps, with the forms, session plans and review points needed at each stage.

Templates

Editable documents you adapt and adopt — policies, committee constitutions, consent formats, registers and reporting formats. Adapt them to your context before adoption.

Checklists

Audit and readiness instruments. A checklist tells you whether a requirement is met, partially met or absent, so that a claim of compliance can be evidenced rather than asserted.

SOPs

Standard operating procedures for situations where hesitation causes harm — receiving a disclosure, responding to an incident, escalating a concern, recording what was done.

Policy Documents

Model policies covering child protection, workplace dignity, governance and ethics, written to sit alongside statutory obligations rather than restate them loosely.

Handbooks

Reference material for the person delivering the work — educators, committee members and community facilitators — with explanation, examples and common errors.

Video, audio and visual material

The multimedia library is being populated. Sessions are recorded and released only where every participant has consented and, in the case of child-facing sessions, where no identifiable child appears.

Translated versions of core material, added progressively. Translations are reviewed by a subject expert before release, not machine-translated.

File formats and licence terms

Format follows function. A document you must edit is never shipped as a locked file, and a document that must not be altered is not shipped as an editable one.

DOCX	Policy and document templates intended to be edited, adapted and adopted under your own institution's name.

Licence and attribution

Everything published here is free for educational and non-commercial use, provided SWAMITRA Foundation is clearly credited and the meaning of the content is not altered. You may print, circulate internally, translate for your own institution's use, and adapt a template to your context.

Commercial reproduction, resale, rebranding or derivative distribution requires prior written permission. Where a document contains third-party material, those rights remain with the respective owners.

Templates and toolkits are educational resources, not legal advice. Adapt them to your circumstances and have them reviewed by a qualified professional before formal adoption.

Resource Centre questions

No. There is no registration wall, no subscription and no charge. Everything in the library is free for educational and non-commercial use with attribution.

Yes — that is what templates are for. Adapt the content to your context, put it on your own letterhead, and credit SWAMITRA Foundation as the source of the template. Have the adapted document reviewed by a qualified professional before formal adoption.

Core material is available in English and Hindi, with bilingual versions of posters, flowcharts and community-facing documents. Additional Indian languages are added progressively. Every translation is reviewed by a subject expert before release. If you need a specific language, request it through the form on this page.

Frameworks and standards carry a version number and a review date. Documents are revised when the law changes, when implementation evidence shows something does not work, or at the end of the stated review cycle. The publication date shown against each item in the library is the date of the current version.

Tell us and we will provide an accessible alternative. We treat accessibility feedback as a priority rather than a request queue. Use the request form on this page and select "Translation or accessible version".

Commercial use requires prior written permission. Internal training delivered by an institution to its own staff or students is covered by the standard licence; charging third parties for a programme built on SWAMITRA material is not. Write to us describing the intended use and we will respond.
