Every framework we publish begins as research

The Research Centre is the part of SWAMITRA Foundation that establishes what is actually true before anything is recommended. India has no consolidated evidence base on legal literacy, constitutional awareness or institutional safety practice. Decisions are therefore made on assumption, and programmes are designed around what feels urgent rather than what is measurably absent.

We work in one sequence, without exception. We measure a baseline, publish the finding, build a framework that responds to it, and then return to measure whether the framework changed anything. Where the evidence does not support a recommendation, we say so and publish the gap rather than filling it with opinion.

Everything the Centre produces is released without charge. A school in a district town and a ministry in a capital city should be reading the same document, in the same words, with the same evidence attached to it.
