Research Centre questions

Use the collaboration form on this page. Include the research question, your proposed method, the timeline and the institutional support available to you. A concept note of two to four pages is usually sufficient for a first review. Proposals are considered on a rolling basis and every submission receives a written response.
Yes. Every framework, standard, policy brief, working paper and survey report published by the Centre is free to download and free to use for educational and non-commercial purposes with attribution. There is no registration wall and no institutional subscription.
Fellowship and research internship opportunities are announced periodically under Get Involved. Openings, eligibility conditions and application windows are published there as they are confirmed; we do not maintain a standing waiting list.
Cite the publication title, the version number where one is given, SWAMITRA Foundation as the publisher, and the year of publication. Frameworks carry version numbers precisely so that a citation points to a fixed text; please cite the version you actually consulted rather than the latest release.
Anonymised datasets are released alongside the report they support wherever participant consent allows it. For data that has not been released, submit a request through the collaboration form describing the intended use. Requests are assessed against our consent conditions, safeguarding obligations and the risk of re-identification.
No. Funding arrangements are disclosed in the publication itself, and funders have no right of approval over findings, wording or the decision to publish. Where a study is commissioned, that fact is stated on the cover page.
